Our Community Today
St. Procopius Abbey was founded in Chicago in 1885; became a conventual priory in 1887, an abbey on 14 January 1894 and was transferred to Lisle, Illinois in 1914.
We strive to come closer to God through our prayer and our service to the Church, especially in our educational apostolates at Benet Academy (a college-preparatory high school) and Benedictine University.
