Location
St. Procopius Abbey is located in the western suburb of Lisle, Illinois, approximately 30 miles west of Chicago. We are easily reached via several nearby expressways. We are equidistant from O'Hare International and Midway Airports. The Burlington-Northern (of the Metra Commuter railroad line) westbound from Chicago's Union Station arrives regularly at the Lisle train station, about 2 miles from the Abbey.
Guests arriving by air at either OʼHare or Midway are asked to contact American Taxi after arriving for conveyance to the Abbey. Giving them the Abbeyʼs address, they will drop you off in our circle drive. A link to American Taxi is given here for your convenience.
