Substantiated Allegations

When an allegation of sexual abuse of a minor has been substantiated, the name of the accused monk is put on the list below. The determination that an allegation is substantiated follows an independent investigation and consultation with an independent Review Board. It is a determination by St. Procopius Abbey, but not a legal judgment or determination.

 

It is with great sorrow that St. Procopius Abbey acknowledges that any of its monks has committed the grave sin of sexual abuse. We pray for the healing of all victims of sexual abuse and we commit ourselves to following policies that safeguard against abuse.
